Introduction of Features
The Marvalero platform hosts many features that are simple to navigate. Most of these features are accessible from the home page.

Calendar & Booking
Creating & Managing Appointments: There are many different ways to create and manage appointments. Navigate to the "Appointments" tab on the right side of your screen. From there, you will be able to create an appointment by adding in information such as the date and time, what service is requested and add stylist preference. To manage an appointment, click on the existing appointment to add or edit information.
Reschedule or Cancel Appointments: If you need to reschedule or cancel an existing appointment, navigate to the "Appointments" tab or click on the appointment from the "Upcoming Appointments" section of your home page. From there, reschedule the appointment or cancel it entirely.
Set up your Service Menu & Availability: When setting up your salon, you will need to add the types of services with their associated prices as well as stylist availability. After navigating to your Business Profile, click on the box that says "Services & Pricing". From there, you will be prompted to add in all services offered and the cost of each service.
Set up Automated Appointment Reminders: Setting up automated appointment reminders will streamline your business. Notifications will remind you of appointments so you are never surprised by a client.
Managing Walk-In Appointments & Waitlist: If a potential clients enters your business and wants a service, select the "Walk-In" section from your home page. You will be prompted to select a stylist and service for the walk-in appointment. If you need to manage the waitlist, you can view the "Checked-In" appointments just to the right of the "Walk-In" section to see who is waiting for a service.
Syncing Appointments with Google Calendar or iCal: Navigate again to the "Appointments" tab to sync your appointments with your preferred calendar.
Add & Manage Multiple Location's Appointments & Schedules: If your business has more than one location, you will need to manage appointments and schedules across the board.
Customer & Client Management
Create a New Client Profile: You will want consistent information on the client so that you are able to provide the best possible service. If each client that enters your business has a profile, you will be able to track everything about your clients, such as what their preferred time/dates are, what service was performed last time, what they are interested to try out and any other notes that are relevant to the client.
Manage Existing Client Profiles: If you need to make an update to an existing client, navigate to the "Clients" tab and select the client you would like to edit.
Delete a Client's Profile: If you need to permanently delete a client from your database, navigate to the "Clients" tab and select the trash icon to the far right side of the client's information.
How to Track Client History: To track your client's history with your business, select the client from the "clients" tab and cick on the client you would like to view. After clicking on the client, a dashboard with a snapshot of the client's information will pop up.
Importing Existing Client Data: To import an existing client's data into your data base, click on the "Clients" tab on the left side of your screen. From there, in the upper right corer, you will see an "upload" button. Click on the button and upload the files.
How to Set Up Client Loyalty Programs: After establishing a client loyalty program at your business, remember to sign up or ask your clients to sign up for the program.
Client Segmentation: There are different ways to divide your clients. For example, you might need to separate them based on services or on location.
Automating Client Communication (Text/E-Mail): Creating outgoing communication to clients is important to notify them of any changes to your business or current service promotions.
Payment Processing
How to Set Up Payment Methods: Set up payment methods for clients by navigating to the "Clients" tab. Click on the client you would like to set up payment for, and find the "Payment" section of the tab that pops up. Enter the client's payment information and click save before exiting.
Processing Payments: To charge a client for a service, go to the "Appointments" tab and click on the appointment that needs payment. View the payment section of the screen and bill the client. Note: this will only work if the client's payment information is already on file.
Integrating with POS Systems: Integrating the Marvalero Platform to your point of sale system is easy. If you have any issues, contact Marvalero Support for help.
Tracking Invoices & Payments: You can track to see which clients have paid for services and which ones still need to pay for services by viewing the "Invoices" tab on the left side of your screen.
Setting up Tips & Gratuity Options: Give your clients the option of giving gratuity for services. This can also be set up by navigating to the "Invoices" tab.
How to Enable Contactless Payments: Enable contactless payments, such as Apple, Google and Samsung Pay by navigating to the "Payments" section of the "Invoices" tab.
Analytics & Reporting
Access and Customize your Reports: To view a custom report, navigate to the Sales Analytics tab.
Tracking Sales & Revenue Reports: For an accurate representation of what your sales and profits look like, go to your Sales Analytics tab and view your current revenue.
Analyzing Appointment Trends & Client Retention: Viewing your appointment trends and client retention will help you understand what is working well for your business.
Employee Performance Reports: Tracking Productivity: Being able to view your employee productivity will give you an idea about which employees are going above and beyond for the clients.
Understanding your Customer Demographics: Knowing how to reach your target demographic is key to any successful business.
Exporting Data for External Use: There are a lot of data sets that can be exported and used for different parts of your business.

Billing & Subscription Management
Understanding your Marvalero Subscription: There are many different features included with your Marvalero subscription. To find out more about your subscription, go to the "Setting" tab to view all features.
How to Upgrade or Downgrade your Plan: Navigate to the "Settings" tab and take a look at your subscription details overview. You will see your current plan and you will have the option to upgrade or downgrade your plan from this screen.
Managing your Subscription Billing: To manage your billing information, navigate to the "Settings" tab. From the Account details tab, you will be able to change your form of payment for the subscription.
How to Add or Remove Locations: Navigate to the "Settings" tab and scroll down to the "Business Locations" window. From this window, you will be able to add or remove locations.
Setting up Automatic Billing: Input a credit card for the easiest way to pay for your Marvalero Subscription.
Understanding Marvalero's Fees and Invoices: Take a look at Marvalero's fees and invoices by navigated to the "Settings" tab and viewing the Privacy & Security tab.
